A computer engineer learns how to design and build such systems. The primary part of this learning process is understanding how computers work and then programming them to make them do what we want. As students of computer science engineering you will learn how to communicate with computers and how computers communicate with each other.

About the department
Lot of importance is given to practical training which lay great stress on "hands on" experience besides a sound theoretical background, particularly in the latest topics. Short term courses and technical lectures by eminent professors and professionals are arranged on a regular basis to broaden the knowledge spectrum of students. The state-of-the-art computer centre has over 300 computers (all P IVs) with the latest hardware and software which provides adequate computer time for all the students. Emphasis is placed on regular attendance, general discipline, conceptual understanding and logical perception.
